Assemblymember Juan Carrillo Celebrates 10 Bills Signed into Law, Advancing Key Priorities for Our Community

Sacramento, CA – Assemblymember Juan Carrillo is thrilled to announce that Governor Gavin Newsom has officially signed ten of his proposed bills into law. This landmark achievement underscores the Assemblymember's commitment to addressing critical issues affecting our desert communities and enhancing the lives of all constituents.

The newly enacted legislation covers a range of important topics, including:

  • AB 2082 – Relinquishment of Palmdale Boulevard
  • AB 2109 – Industrial Process Heat Recovery
  • AB 2192 – California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Act
  • AB 2245 – Retaining Career Technical Education Teachers
  • AB 2371 – Electric Security Fence Permits
  • AB 2443 – Transactions & Use Tax
  • AB 2533 – Accessory Dwelling Unit Amnesty
  • AB 2622 – Expanding Opportunities for Handymen
  • AB 2929 – Advancing Foster Youth Family Finding Efforts
  • AB 98 – Planning Logistics & Neighborhood Standards (P.L.A.N.S) Act
